March 2015

Well time flies is an understatement now that it's March 29, 2015 and Jerry is 3 1/2 and potty trained as of three weeks ago. Lagoon was the big prize so we went today and had a blast. Love this boy and all the fun he brings to everyday things. So excited for him to start soccer next month. He says he is excited too, so we'll see.

Time flies!

Wow I looked and my last Jerry blog was in March! Geez. Well I am sitting here in the Atlanta airport counting the minutes until i get home to Cody and Jerry. Its amazing that the very things that exhaust you day in and day out, (like getting up in the middle of the night with a teething baby, then starting your work day at 5:30am , following around your toddler who only wants to run everywhere and take everything out of every cupboard, and folding and refolding laundry because your little helper is everything but helpful,  but oh so fun to watch explore) are the things you miss the most when u leave them behind even for a day.

We often wonder if we should have stuck to the cry it out thing and then I will be in the rocker holding him cuz he woke up at 3 am and think to myslef, there is nothing more special than these moments when your child needs and wants only you. I try to tell myself to remember how wonderful this feels, because so soon it will be only that, a memory.

He is so much fun. Still a happy little guy that is eager and ready to explore everything!  14 months this weekend. He is my little partner! We go everywhere together and he cooperates with the agenda for the most part!
He likes to bring u his cars and say  "voom, voom" and of you wall away he follows shouting " hey, hey, hey". Oh so fun

First teeth

Jerry got his first tooth on the bottom on 3-12-12. A couple days later the other front bottom one started popping through.

7 months!

Hard to believe how much can happen in a month.  Lets see, he is eating even more now, loves to sit in carts at the store and check everything out. He decided over the weekend he could do this crawling thing, and has taken off. Sadly, he has his first ear infection, but is starting to feel much. Better now. He is such a love bug and so happy. What a blessing he is. We also got some cute family pictures done.
I almost forgot, can u tell he loves the bath. :)

6 month check up

<p>Jerry had his 6 month appointment on Tuesday and weighted in at 15-10. He was 25.5 inches long. He can sit up pretty well on his own as of about a week ago.
He is so much fun with a smile that melts your heart.  Bonnie and koko love him too.

Jerry is 6 months now

Well its hard to believe its been half a year. We are so blessed by this sweet little boy. He rolls only one direction but pivots and manages to get all around the room until he hits a wall or couch.  Started rice cereal 2 weeks ago. This week we added avocado. He isn't a huge fan but didn't hate it either. His smile lights up the whole room.

Just finishing. Jerry weighed in at 14 lbs 4 oz at his 4 month appointment and was 24.5 in.  On november 23. Wow hard to believe its almost been 2 months since then.

WOW time flies!

<p>I have been a slacker. Jerry is 5 months old. Its hard to believe.  Last week he started rolling both directions from his back but he still cant roll back to his tummy yet.   He is a smiley boy and very happy.

3 and a half months!

I realized I haven't posted anything in a while. Jerry is a great sleeper, he has been sleeping 10-11 hours for last month.  This last week he decided to get stubborn and refuse any bottles. So stay tuned to see how that works out. The Pediatricians office says the good news is I have an independent thinker. The bad news is he doesn't get to make these decisions yet . 

Two months old

We took Jerry to his first  wedding reception. He was great. He also has his 2 month appointment this week. Weighing in at 11 pounds 6 ounces and measuring 22 and a half inches long.

6 weeks!

It is hard to believe that its been six weeks since Jerry was born, but it has. We have just fallen in love with our little man.  He is growing a lot,  getting little baby fat on his thighs and arms. So cute! He is starting to smile and give little grins that are adorable. It has all just been amazing, we feel so blessed.

Jerry's first flight

We flew home to California on September 1 to visit family in the bay area. Jerry was so good and quiet on both flights (yeah). We had a great time and just this week noticed jerry is starting to get some baby chub that is so cute!

One month already!

Hard to believe Jerry is already one month old.  Today we went and met Cody on his break and the two of them hung out while mama got a wonderful pedicure.

Finally starting the blog

Well after figuring out my technical difficulties (I had to use my gmail account on my phone to be able to uploa d directly from it) I am now starting our blog.  Time has been flying by and Jerry is 3 and a half weeks old. He is a sweet little guy that Cody and I adore! I will do my best to post updates and pics often. He weighed 7-12 at this 2 week appt last week, passing his birth weight by 2 ounces! The pediatrician says he is a very healthy little boy!
